I purchased this jacket from my local dealer just over a year ago. I love the jacket overall. But the cuff zippers are terrible. Thery both have jammed both closing and opening. The culprit is the SBS waterproof zipper. Today the left cuff zipper completely failed. One side of the teeth pulled loose from the slider as I was attempting to unzip yet another jam. I tried to repair by pushing the teeth into the slide but failed without doing more damage. The jacket, although not totally ruined is not good for winter riding as the cuff will not close. The next part is my fault alone. I neglected to register the jacket for warranty coverage, so I am stuck with it. I still give it four stars.
Hey Elmon, thanks for the review but we are sorry to hear about the issue with the cuff zippers. Please reach out to us at info@helmethouse.com with more information so we can have our products team take a look.

This jacket is well made and offers good protection in falls. The thermal liner does add bulk but overall fit is good. I found the airflow is very good even in the Florida heat. I have a full review on YouTube Petes1800

I recently purchased the Horizon line Trek Jacket, pants, and Roamer gloves for my North Carolina trip. While the design is impressive and the insulation kept me warm during a ride in 40F degrees weather up in Cherohala Skyway, I found the waterproofing feature of the product to be inadequate. During moderate rain at 65F, the jacket and pants failed to keep me dry, and I ended up with soaked forearms up to the elbow and completely wet from the waist down. The gloves also did not provide enough warmth when the temperature dropped below 50F and ended up being soaking wet. While the product offers ample storage space, I would not recommend using it in wet weather conditions.

Just received my Tourmaster Alpine-Trek Jacket. I am very impressed with how quickly Helmet House shipped my order, and very impressed with my jacket. My jacket has an amazing amount of features, I consider this jacket a real bargain for the price paid. Materials and assembly appear top tier. Can't wait to go for a ride! Thanks Helmet House and Tourmaster!
