  2. Dual-Layer Multi-Density EPS Liner: The helmet's EPS liner is designed for enhanced impact absorption and includes ventilation channels to maintain airflow.
  3. Dual Sport Design: The Hornet X2 is specifically designed for dual sport riders, offering the convenience of a face shield and visor to cater to both on-road and off-road needs.
  4. Outstanding Ventilation: Equipped with multiple intake and exhaust vents, the helmet's ventilation system ensures optimal airflow, even during strenuous off-road riding.
  5. Wide Field of Vision: The helmet provides a large, unobstructed field of vision, accommodating goggles for off-road adventures and a clear, distortion-free face shield for on-road comfort.
  6. 3D Max-Dry Interior System: The interior liner is constructed from SHOEI's Max-Dry material, known for its moisture-wicking properties. It's fully removable, washable, and replaceable for a fresh and comfortable fit.
  7. Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS): EQRS allows for swift and safe helmet removal in emergencies, reducing the risk of further injury.
  8. Adjustable Visor: The visor is easily adjustable to cater to different riding conditions, providing shade from the sun and protection from debris.
  9. Aerodynamic Stability: The helmet's design reduces wind noise and drag, contributing to a stable and comfortable riding experience.
  10. Chin Curtain and Breath Guard: These features help manage airflow inside the helmet, reducing noise and preventing shield fogging.

As expected from a Shoei helmet the Hornet X-2 delivers. Fits just as comfortably as my rf-1200. I’ve fitted it with a Cardo Pactalk Black (second helmet kit) no issues with that. I’m currently riding from California to Indiana sitting next to a campfire outside of Glacier National Park. Though it’s a little loud over 50 mph I typically ride with ear plugs so it’s not much of a concern. If you’re thinking about buying an adventure helmet and you’re a Shoei guy or gal this is the helmet for you. The only downside is they no longer make the Transitions Photochromic shield. Other than that a solid purchase!
