As the Social Media Coordinator, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute the approved social media strategy, including ideation, creation, execution, engagement, and reporting, while adhering to company policy, best practices, and guidance. This cross-functional position requires close collaboration with various Helmet House staff, including those managing Art Direction, Videography, Product Development, Sales, and Merchandise.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Social Media Marketing or content development and a sixth sense for trend-setting social content. A bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Your mission will be to convert social media users into actionable leads for all Helmet House brands' marketing departments. The main metrics for success in this role are increasing lead generation, lead conversion, partnership/influencer opportunities, social media followers, content engagement, and post frequency.

The Social Media Coordinator will focus their efforts on aligning per-channel strategies with Helmet House’s psychographics, with special attention paid to developing content and conversion strategies for TikTok and emerging platforms. Success in this role will depend on the effective curation of partnerships and influencer relationships to penetrate non-owned channels and develop Helmet Houses' existing owned channels.

  • Execute Helmet House’s overall social media marketing strategy as directed by the company’s Marketing Manager
  • Developing and implementing innovative ways to build a social media community and boost conversations.
  • Developing conversion-oriented strategy plans to implement unique content per social media channel.
  • Handling social media accounts and social content calendars across various platforms, including but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Collaborating and finding strategic opportunities to promote and develop content in partnership with the company’s franchise community teams. Work cross-functionally to build and complete results-driven campaigns.
  • Engaging daily with social media audiences to promote brand affinity, convert leads, and identify customer service opportunities.
  • Collaborating on creative briefs for social assets; assisting with managing relationships with creative partners; shooting and editing when needed, and crafting and posting regular IG stories.
  • Analyzing and reporting on content performance to advise internal collaborators and using real-time findings to adjust & optimize social plans as needed.
  • Supporting issues management by monitoring social media and delivering periodic reports when needed.
  • Keeping a pulse on social and cultural trends to implement content and optimize our channels.
  • Creating and monitoring paid Facebook, Instagram, Google & YouTube ads.
  • Creating and managing Facebook Ad campaigns, setting ad spending budgets, monitoring ad budgets, optimizing, and delivering reports on ads.
It is a plus if the candidate is a motorcycle enthusiast or has a love and knowledge of Helmet House brands. The ideal candidate should be an outcome-oriented creative storyteller with a record of incredible work. Candidate must be proficient with social media and have expertise in working with social media publishing and analytics tools. In addition, familiarity with Meta Business Manager, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics is a plus.
