ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Helmet House is the leading U.S. distributor of helmets and apparel in the Motorcycle and Powersports industry. We are in search of a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast-paced Finance Team.

Our Company was founded in 1969 and has its headquarters and a distribution center in Calabasas Hills, CA along with an eastern distribution point in Southaven, MS. For decades Helmet House has supplied Powersports Dealers across the U.S. with two of the world’s top helmet brands; SHOEI and HJC. Helmet House is also the manufacturer and distributor of Tour Master, Cortech, and NORU motorcycle riding gear, and Alpinestars Riding Gear. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience. Must have experience using Microsoft Business Central, be a quick learner, self-starter, troubleshooter, and problem solver with a positive attitude. Must have attention to detail, be able to think proactively, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with basic office duties in the wholesale industry is preferred.  This full-time position will report to the Accounting Manager, and the office hours are M-F, 8am-5pm at our Calabasas Hills, CA headquarters.  

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Accounts Payable data entry
  • Assist with general office duties and projects as needed
  • Credit Card processing 

SKILLS
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
  • Solid Excel and Microsoft 365 Office skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers and vendors
  • Ability to pay attention to detail while working with multiple projects 
  • Follows through with all tasks, assignments, and job duties in a timely manner
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Willing and able to occasionally work additional overtime hours when needed
  • Long periods of sitting at a desk
